Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-10-24
By downloading or using CarVue you agree to these terms. CarVue is licensed, not sold, under Apple's standard End User License Agreement (link below), supplemented by the following. If anything here conflicts with that agreement, Apple's agreement prevails.
What CarVue is
CarVue is a player and a browser. It does not include, sell or provide any content: you add the videos, lists, channels, accounts and websites.
Your content
You are responsible for having the rights or permissions needed for the content you play, import or cast, and for the lists and accounts you add being legal in your country. Do not use CarVue to access content without authorization. Websites you open (such as YouTube) have their own terms, which you must also follow.
Driving safety
Never watch videos or operate the app while driving. The driver must keep attention on the road and obey traffic laws. The automatic pause while driving is an aid and may not work in every case. Passenger mode should only be turned on when whoever watches the screen is not driving. You use CarVue in the car at your own risk.
Trial, subscriptions and purchase
CarVue includes free usage time. After that you can unlock it with a monthly or yearly subscription, or with a one-time lifetime payment. Subscriptions may include a free trial; if you don't cancel before it ends, the chosen period is charged. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; payment is charged to your Apple Account. You can manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings. Purchases are processed by Apple, can be restored on your devices, and refunds are handled by Apple.
No warranty
CarVue is provided "as is". We don't guarantee it works with every car, server, format or website, or that it is error-free. Third-party sites and servers may change or stop working.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CarVue is not liable for damages arising from use of the app, third-party content or its use while driving.
Open-source software
CarVue uses open-source components such as VLCKit (LGPL 2.1). Their licences are under Open-source licences.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the version in force. Questions: support@carvue.app.
